iOS app overview
What's in the Helios iPhone app and how it maps to the web.
The Helios iOS app is built for working the inbox on the go: triaging leads, replying to conversations, taking calls, and looking up contacts. Download it from the App Store and sign in with your regular Helios account.
The five tabs
| Tab | What’s there |
|---|---|
| Inbox | Three panes under one tab: Chats (every thread), Calls (history and voicemail), and Tasks (today’s follow-ups). Conversations weave the customer’s booking-system actions (booked, attended, purchased, membership changes) into the timeline as tappable markers between messages. The Inbox badge is unread chats plus unseen missed calls and unlistened voicemails. Open tasks stay on the Tasks card as N to do. |
| Dial | The keypad. Place outbound calls from your inbox’s number so your personal number stays private. |
| Contacts | Search your contact database and open full profiles. With a connected booking system, a profile’s Insights card shows membership status, class cards with sessions left, live intro offers, visit history, and purchases (Mindbody, fitDEGREE, and Mariana Tek). |
| Pulse | Ask Helios. Opportunity at the top, your gym’s Pulse feed under it, and the Ask box on the floor. See Ask Helios on iPhone. |
| More | Inbox switching, preferences, analytics, team, billing, and help. |
Tap the inbox name at the top of the Inbox tab to switch locations. The three cards show counts when there is work (3 unread, 1 missed, 4 to do); swipe or tap to move between panes.
The More tab covers account-level things: Switch Inbox, Preferences (Notifications, Voice Calling, Appearance), Analytics (Performance, Usage), and Organization (Team, Plan & Billing).
Performance
More → Performance is your gym’s vitals on your phone. The header charts one stat at a time as a bar per day: tap Sent, Received, or New contacts to switch what the chart shows, and touch and hold it, then slide to read any day while the numbers follow your finger. Under it: sends by channel (texts, emails, calls), revenue attributed to messages, your lead funnel (with a connected booking system), and where visitors come from.
Pick a range from the control in the top corner (7 days up to 12 months); every panel follows, and each number is compared to the equal period before it. Share this renders the wave and numbers onto a card for the share sheet.
iOS vs web
The app is optimized for day-to-day conversation work. Building things (flows, blasts, forms, templates, integrations setup) lives on the web. A good mental model: create on desktop, converse anywhere.
Calls on iPhone
Incoming calls to your Helios number ring natively, like any phone call, once Voice Calling is enabled. See Making and receiving calls. Use the Dial tab to place outbound calls from your inbox’s number.
After you hang up (or finish listening to a voicemail), a follow-up sheet offers a text from your templates, a note on the contact, or a task. Missed calls that never connected still use the missed-call notification instead, so you are not asked twice. Turn the sheet off under More → Preferences → Voice Calling.
