The Prep Work
Like a master chef about to cook a delicious meal, precise preparation is key. Here’s a checklist to make sure you’re ready to start a new SMS marketing campaign:
Step 1: Define Your Goals

Ok, now we’re ready for ChatGPT. If you don’t know where to start, we recommend ChatGPT. If you’d like to use another AI service, that’s fine too. You can create an account with them or use other logins like your Google account to continue.
Once you have an account, you will see a home screen with a large search bar on the bottom. That’s where we input our command. We recommend giving the AI as much information as possible to maximize the quality of your result. See below:
You can see from our example that the AI listened to our requests regarding tone and information, but the message seemed long. Generative AI is not perfect, but it's pretty damn good. Notice that we replied with another request. By continuing the conversation, or using the term “based on your last response”, you can continue to finesse the message until it’s the perfect representation of your brand.
We know it should go without saying, but always read the response before blasting it out to your contacts. You are always responsible for the content sent out via your company. As stated, we recommend refining your message with your AI service. In our above example we also (intentionally) forgot to add our call-to-action or “CTA”. Another nice feature of ChatGPT is that you can add and remove things simply by asking the AI, so you never have to worry about starting from scratch.

Step 6: Save the Content as a Template
In Helios, go to your templates, click create and paste in your content. Check your list twice like Santa and schedule message delivery.
